Abbreviated Curriculum Vitae  

Ph.D. in Computer Science and member of the European Association for Machine Translation. Extraordinary Doctorate Award. His main research areas are machine translation and translation technologies. He has participated in the design and development of the free/open source machine translation platform Apertium, and in several research projects funded by the Spanish Government and the European Commission. He is founding partner of Prompsit Language Engineering S.L., company dedicated to human languages technologies. Most of his undergraduate and postgraduate teaching is related to translation and language technologies.
